$50 off newborn session when booking maternity session. Maternity gowns available for use.
I always suggest that you contact a newborn photographer during your second trimester. I love doing maternity photos when you’re between 30-34 weeks pregnant, and also set up a newborn session during that time, as well. I will typically book the newborn session tentatively for 5-10 days after your due date, and we can always adjust the date in the future.
Studio sessions are posed newborn sessions, and most of them incorporate props (baskets, hats, wraps, outfits) Family is welcome to join in these studio sessions, and will garnish a more posed session result.
Lifestyle photography sessions are done in your own home, typically in your baby’s nursery, or your family living spaces. These result in a natural and organic session, and minimal props or poses will be planned out. I do always bring one box and one wrap for a posed photo during lifestyle newborn sessions.
As a newborn photographer, I have everything you need for a studio newborn photography session in my studio. I have all the props and outfits you could ever need! If there is something special that you wish to incorporate into your newborn session, please let me know. For example, if Dad loves football, we can plan a photo of your baby with a miniature football prop. Together we can plan your perfect newborn session.
Please bring your basic essentials for your baby.
I always suggest to wear minimal patterns, and classic muted tones for studio or lifestyle sessions. I do send over an informative packet once you book a session, with outfit suggestions. If you’re looking for additional guidance, I have a stylist available that can help you plan your perfect wardrobe to match your family’s individual style, as well as compliment my photography style.
